Enterprise Ireland announce changes to the Innovation Voucher Programme

Enterprise Ireland have announced the following changes to the Innovation Voucher Programme effective the 1st of July 2024.

A Standard Innovation Voucher will now provide up to €10,000 to the qualifying company for use with an eligible Knowledge Provider.
A Co-funded Voucher will now provide up to €10,000 when matched with the same amount from a qualifying company for use with an eligible Knowledge Provider.
Each company will be eligible to 3 Standard and 1 Co-funded Voucher over a rolling 5-year period.
The validity period of a Voucher will be extended to 18months.

Please note that all companies are still liable for the payment of VAT at 23% and any Vouchers issued before the 1st of July 2024 will remain valued at €5,000.

The Innovation Voucher programme was developed by Enterprise Ireland to build links between knowledge providers (i.e., higher education institutes, public research bodies) and Irish SMEs.

Innovation Vouchers are available to assist a company to explore a business opportunity or problem with a registered knowledge provider.

The initiative is open to all small and medium-sized limited companies registered with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) in Ireland.

You do not have to be a client of Enterprise Ireland to apply.
