Donegal County Council is a Local Authority based in the North West of Ireland. Donegal County Council has extensive and varied experience and expertise in both EU and nationally funded projects across a broad spectrum of themes in both lead and partner roles. 

Donegal County Council is a diligent, professional and committed public body interested in joining partner consortiums, networking, developing innovative projects and applying for funding from both National and EU funding programmes.

Donegal County Council's Economic Development Directorate includes the Strategic Funding Unit, which is a section tasked with developing projects, networking and sourcing funding to assist the Local Authority in achieving the strategic objectives that are set out in the Corporate Plan 2020 - 2024.
