3rd & 4th October @ 1pm

Join us to celebrate the great German tradition of Oktoberfest in Kinnegar style.

Oktoberfest's roots can be traced back to 1810 in Munich, which is in the Bavarian region of Germany. On October 12th of that year, the future King Ludwig got married and invited the entire city to attend the celebration, which included a large feast and horse races.

A true-blue Bavarian and veteran Oktoberfest reveller, our old ally Felix identifies the crucial character of this quintessential German celebration as a good party that you go to with your mates.

Work mates, club mates, college mates, family mates – gather them up and bring them along. Join us to celebrate this great German tradition in Kinnegar style. We’re as excited as you are at the prospect of another rollicking celebration in an authentic beer-hall atmosphere!!

Here are some updates on what to expect:

VENUE

“K3”, as we call our warehouse area, is certainly a far cry from your average function room — the atmosphere is nothing if not authentic! We’ll be decking the beer hall with our German beer garden furniture and swathes of Bavarian colour to create a classic backdrop for the party.

FOOD

Last year this was the menu so expect something equally fantastic from the Dirty Souls this year:

- Pretzels

- Bratwurst

- Smoked Half Chicken w German Red Cabbage/Fries

- And yes, we’ll also have a Vegan/Veg option!

BEER

At least 4 x great authentic German beer styles to celebrate with:

— Leaf Kicker, 5.6% ABV Märzen, the original Oktoberfest beer

— Hefeweizen, our Donegal rendition of this German staple, specially made for the big occasion

— DL, our beloved 4.5% light lager

— Limeburner, our classic Kölsch-style pale ale made with German noble hops and best known in its native Cologne.

We'll also make sure you can enjoy non-German Kinnegar classics such as Scraggy Bay, our Nitro Black Lager, and new favourite Jackrabbit Ginger Beer.
