De Pookx (Dutch for The Pogues) are Holland's premier Pogues tribute band.
In 2024 a promoter for Op De T Festival asked a goup of folk musicians to perform The Pogues songs live on stage as a tribute to Shane MacGowan who passed away the year before. They were met with such regard that De Pookx was born.
Since then they have been playing all over Holland and this year they are bringing their love of The Pogues music to the Emerald Isle. Performing all your favourite tracks like Dirty Old Town, Fiesta, Streams of Whiskey & Fairy Tale of New York
