On 25th September, Donegal County Council will once again celebrate the achievements, leadership and community spirit of the Global Irish Community at the 2026 Tip O'Neill Irish Diaspora Awards in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel, Buncrana.
This year's recipients, Kate Barton and Brendan "Tiny" Vaughan, have each made outstanding contributions to their respective fields while maintaining a strong connection to Ireland and the values that define our Diaspora. Their achievements reflect the very best of Irish leadership, service and commitment to community.
Hosted by Donegal County Council, the awards have become one of the most prestigious celebrations of the Irish Diaspora, bringing together guests from Ireland and around the world to honour those who continue to strengthen the bonds between home and the global Irish community.
We look forward to celebrating this years awardees alongside this years MC Seán Perry and musical entertainment from Crampsey & Co. as well as welcoming back previous recipients, members of the O'Neill family and guests from near and far for what promises to be another memorable evening of celebration and recognition.
