Michael Murphy and Packie Bonner to Feature in Exclusive Fireside Chat Hosted by Sarah Mulkerrins
Donegal County Council, in partnership with the London Irish Centre, is delighted to announce a special evening celebrating the people, achievements, and opportunities that make Donegal one of Ireland’s most dynamic counties.
The event will take place on Monday, 7 September at the London Irish Centre, bringing together members of the Irish diaspora, business leaders, sports enthusiasts, and those interested in exploring the many opportunities available in Donegal.
A highlight of the evening will be an exclusive Fireside Chat featuring two of Donegal’s most celebrated sporting figures, Michael Murphy and Packie Bonner, in conversation with acclaimed broadcaster Sarah Mulkerrins. Guests can look forward to an engaging discussion as the pair reflect on their remarkable careers, discuss the pride of representing Donegal on the national and international stage, and share personal insights into leadership, resilience, and success.
The event will also shine a spotlight on the county’s economic potential and growing employment opportunities. Up to ten leading Donegal-based companies will attend, offering attendees a unique opportunity to learn more about career pathways and professional opportunities available throughout the county. Participating companies will be announced over the coming weeks.
The initiative forms part of Donegal County Council’s ongoing efforts to strengthen connections with the Irish diaspora and showcase Donegal as an exceptional place not only to visit, but to live, work, invest, and build a future.
