Four day celebration of local, national & international traditional singing featuring sessions, concert, workshops, & lectures in the villages of Ballyliffin & Clonmany. The longest running festival of traditional singing on the island of Ireland, now in its 36th year.

Full Event Description

Inishowen Singing Weekend (Inishowen International Folk Song & Ballad Seminar) is a glorious celebration of Inishowen's local song tradition amid song communities from around the world.

Fourteen official events are held in six venues in the villages of Ballyliffin and Clonmany - formal and informal singing sessions, lectures, a Grand Concert, and workshops.

The 2026 gathering features a truly international line-up with singers from England, Scotland, Portugal, as well as local & national performers.

Weekend Registration Ticket €75 per person to cover: entry to all events , inter-venue transport, lunch/dinner Saturday, and light refreshments Friday-Monday.

Sunday workshops - extra fee bookable only in-person at the Singing Weekend € 10 per person.
