Donegal's Brigid’s Day February Bank Holiday festival is back for 2025!
Taking place in Bundoran, Co. Donegal, 'Féile na mBan' returns for its third year. Dedicated to showcasing women in all walks of life, the festival will once again provide a showcase of the best of Irish women in history, arts, music, activism and many other areas.
Joan Crawford, Fáilte Ireland’s manager of the Wild Atlantic Way says ‘we are thrilled to have this festival grow and offer such a variety and talent to visitors over our newest bank holiday. There’s no better place than Donegal for the Wild Women of Ireland to celebrate Brigid.’
Highlights of previous weekends included performances from critically acclaimed bands Dea Matrona, Systir, and The Henry Girls. Speakers have included activist Ailbhe Smyth, historian Sonja Tiernan, and author Keith Corcoran.
There will be surfing and sea-swimming, wellness and bootcamp sessions, knitting, featured talks, workshops, art exhibitions, poetry readings and lots more!
