The Cup of Tae Festival will take place in Ardara from Fri 1st to Mon 4th May. The festival will mark its 23rd year and will show case the best of Irish Traditional Music with musicians coming from far and near to join in the many sessions that will take place over the course of the weekend.

This year the Festival will honour Jim & Fiona Byrne.

There will be Schools of Music in many traditional instruments for both beginners and intermediate.

There will be open air recitals (weather permitting), sessions, concerts all through the weekend.

The Sunday of the Festival is dedicated to the memory of the late Stephen McCahill a founding member.

There will be great trad sessions in all the pubs.
