Donegal County Council recently travelled to Seville to participate in the latest interregional meeting of the Green Hydra project.
The visit brought together partners from across Europe to exchange experiences and explore how regions can better support SMEs in the emerging green hydrogen sector.
The meeting took place alongside the European Hydrogen Energy Conference 2026, providing valuable insights into the rapidly developing hydrogen ecosystem and the role regions can play in enabling innovation and collaboration.
For Donegal County Council, the visit was an excellent opportunity to learn from other regions, share knowledge, and identify good practices that can help strengthen regional policy and support the development of the green hydrogen economy.
The discussions and connections made during the visit will help inform Donegal County Council’s ongoing work within the Green Hydra project and contribute to building stronger regional ecosystems for sustainable energy across Europe
