Organised by the Local Enterprise Offices and supported by Enterprise Ireland and the local authorities, Enterprise week 2022 will take place from March 7th - 11th.
Donegal County Council's Economic Development Unit will be hosting two dynamic and worthwhile events during the week focusing on the future of remote working in the region and EU Funding & Development opportunities.
Enterprise Week Events:
This event will be of interest to businesses operating in the digital sector that want to find out more about EU funding and project development opportunities. Speakers, including Dr. Margaret Quinn, Donegal Digital/Ernact, Eileen Kelly, Donegal LEO and Dan Turkik, B2-EU Consulting will present on upcoming EU funding opportunities with a specific focus on SME’s in digital innovation as well as the do’s and don’ts for businesses interested in participating in these EU programmes. There will be an opportunity for specific questions during the interactive Q&A session at the end of the event.

This event will feature the stories of people who have taken the decision to remote work from Donegal and the impact that this decision has had not only on their work but on their quality of life. Speakers include innovation expert Kevin Sexton, as well as founder Laura Gallagher (LG Global) on being a remote entrepreneur. Kevin McShane from Inishowen Innovation Hub will also share his insights on how working remotely is not only reinvigorating rural Ireland but is driving creativity and innovation both locally and globally. Donegal ETB and Grow Remote, a national organization supporting remote workers, will also share insights on the future of remote working in the region and supports available.
