Donegal 2040 is an agile company that has the capacity to secure public funding and private finance and investment to build, manage and commercially operate enabling capital infrastructure that will support economic development in Donegal and the wider region.
The below listed are the projects currently under the remit of Donegal 2040 DAC:
The Carrigart GTeic Hub was developed by Donegal County Council in collaboration with Udaras na nGaeltachta under the Town and Village Programme and opened its doors in July 2022. Donegal 2040 operates the hub on behalf of Donegal County Council and the company has contracted local company Comhlacht Forbartha An Tearmainn Cuideachta Faoi Theorainn Ráthaíochta to manage the facility on a day to day basis.

Alpha Innovation is a project of Donegal 2040 and is supported and funded by Donegal County Council and Enterprise Ireland. ALPHA Innovation are on a mission to increase the innovation maturity of young people, entrepreneurs, scaleups & SMEs in Donegal, while also showcasing the region as a great place to set up, grow and scale your business. The team offer unique interventions to guide entrepreneurs and businesses forward through key stages of their journey. Alpha Innovation is backed by Donegal County Council and Enterprise Ireland.
