Situated on the wild Atlantic way, using traditional techniques Donegal Farmhouse Cheese produces a semi-hard cheese in the style of cheddar from milk produced locally. ‘Kilard Cheddar' cheese is hand made and is produced annually from May to September when the cows are grazing the fresh summer grass reflecting all that is lovely and unique in the Donegal countryside. Handmade from pasteurised cows milk and contains no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives and is also suitable for vegetarians.
