Join the Donegal Tech Advocates for an insightful morning session exploring what it takes to build, scale, and sustain a global tech business from Donegal. This event forms part of Local Enterprise Week 2026, celebrating innovation, ambition, and enterprise across the county.
The session will take place on Wednesday, 4th March 2026, at ATU Letterkenny. Registration and breakfast networking will begin at 8:15am, with the event starting promptly at 8:45am.
The morning will open with an introduction to the Donegal Tech Advocates and their mission to champion Donegal’s vibrant and growing tech sector, supporting its continued development and global ambition. Attendees will hear strong local perspectives, facilitated by Paul Phelan of Optum, focusing on belief in Donegal as a strategic base for innovation and world-class technology delivery.
Secora Consulting will then share their “Built on Belief” journey — from a local startup to a scaling success story. The Secora team will explore how they have grown a specialised tech firm in Donegal, reflecting on key successes, scaling challenges, and the increasingly vital role of cybersecurity in modern organisations.
Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur, an established business owner, or a professional working within Donegal’s thriving tech ecosystem, this session offers a practical blueprint for navigating today’s tech landscape and unlocking the unique opportunities available right here in Donegal.
