The Culdaff Development Association, with the support of Community Foundation Ireland invites you for a FREE hands-on event to discover how Culdaff’s sand dunes help protect our coastline from flooding and erosion. Led by Dr Kevin Lynch from the University of Galway, this session will dive into why dunes are so important for coastal defence.
Over two days (Saturday 26th April and Saturday 7th June 2025) you’ll learn practical ways to help care for and strengthen these natural barriers.
Whether you’re a local resident or just passionate about the coast, this is a chance to get involved and make a difference.
Particpants must be 16 years+
There is a Kids Dune Day for children of parents attending the event.
