London Irish Centre plays host to Donegal Jobs Fair

Eleven Donegal-based businesses showcased the wonderful job opportunities and careers on offer in Donegal at the London Irish Centre on Thursday, 16th May. The event was hosted by Donegal County Council in partnership with the London Irish Centre.

Among those in attendance were PGIM Ireland, Mantis Cranes, McMenamin Engineering, the HSE, Donegal County Council, TATA Consultancy Services, Optum, Forward Emphasis, SITA, Source Civil Ltd and BuildCost.

The event was an opportunity to showcase the fantastic career possibilities that exist in Donegal along with the offer of a better work-life balance that exists nowhere else. Many of the companies present on the evening are actively recruiting for senior positions and continue to welcome applicants.

Two engaging panel discussions took place on the evening for participating companies to present their opportunities in greater detail. The first was chaired by Head of Economic Development for Donegal County Council, Anne Marie Conlon. 

Featured on the panel were Enda Healy, Managing Director for Source Civil Ltd, Lynn Stoddart for the Health Service Executive (HSE) and Patsy Lafferty, Director of Services with responsibility for Human Resources at Donegal County Council.

The discussion explored career possibilities in local government, healthcare, and engineering.

The second panel discussion was chaired by Donegal County Council Director of Services for Economic Development, Garry Martin, and featured Aisling McDevitt from PGIM Ireland, Rebecca McClelland from Tata Consultancy Services and Aine McMenamin from Mantis Cranes.

The discussion focused on Donegal based opportunities and career development in Construction and Engineering, financial and professional services.
