25th September is #LoveDonegal Day

This years’ #LoveDonegal day will take place on Wednesday, 25th September and let’s work together to make it bigger and better than ever!

Last year’s #LoveDonegal broke the internet and became a world-wide phenomenon, reaching a global audience of 85 million across 24 hours and rising to nearly 125 million throughout the weekend!

#LoveDonegal is an important day in the calendar as it brings all of those with a connection to our beautiful county, from all corners of the world, together to proclaim their love for Donegal.

Cathaoirleach Cllr. Niamh Kennedy is urging everyone to celebrate #LoveDonegal this year, saying that this is a great opportunity for people from Donegal as well as those people who have a great affinity for the county to share their thoughts with the rest of the world.

“I’m calling on all the people of Donegal near and far to give a huge shout out to the place they call home and to support Love Donegal Day on Wednesday, 25th September”.

“Over the last number of years, we have had great support from various well known Donegal people who are only too pleased to support their county and highlight what makes it so unique."

"Last year’s response was incredible, and we hope to continue that momentum in 2024”.
