Donegal County Council to Host Jobs Fair in London to Promote Employment Opportunities in Donegal

Over 11 Donegal based businesses and more to be confirmed will take part in the Donegal Jobs Fair at the London Irish Centre in Camden, London next month promoting jobs and career opportunities across several sectors including Tech, Engineering, Construction, Maritime and Healthcare

The Jobs Fair will take place on Thursday 16th May from 5pm and will specifically target Donegal people living in London and who are looking to return home or people who are interested in relocating to the north west of Ireland. 

The event will showcase the diverse range of employment opportunities available in Donegal in sectors such as construction, financial and professional services, tech, engineering, education, hospitality and healthcare and will highlight the many career prospects available in the county with many companies seeking to recruit for senior positions.

The Jobs Fair is being co-ordinated by Donegal County Council and Cathaoirleach Cllr. Martin Harley is keen to acknowledge the interest and support from various companies and organisations, saying “I’d really like to acknowledge the businesses and organisations that have partnered with us for this Jobs Fair.  We will have with us HR teams from Optum, PGIM, Source Civil, MMG Ocean, HSE, ETB and Donegal County Council to name but a few and all will be promoting jobs and career opportunities currently available as well as jobs likely to come up in the next 12 to 18 months.

“I urge anyone living in London to come along to the event and see what Donegal has to offer.  It’s a chance to explore career paths, network with employers and businesses and consider the exciting prospects that await you in Donegal.” 

The event promises to be an engaging and informative experience for attendees, with a diverse array of businesses and employers showcasing their offerings along with the Councils Economic Development team providing other essential information needed when relocating to Donegal including information on housing, schools, driving licences and more.
