The International Summit of Screen and Sound continued for the second day and third day with a full programme of events and the announcement of the Day Two winners.

Smash Channel 4 hit Derry Girls took home the much coveted Comedy (Screen) award, meanwhile BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Sounds’ hard hitting and compelling The Cruelty – A Child Unclaimed won in Factual Series (Sound). Elsewhere, BBC ALBA’s exhilarating Dàna | Scotland's Wild Side topped the Factual Entertainment (Screen) category.

Today is the third and final day of the conference and Measuring Diversity - the What, the Why and the AI, looks at the importance of creating content which reflects the world fairly and accurately. With the need for ongoing, in-depth conversations about what diversity means and how we measure it, this session takes a practical look at the industry.

During Success in Any Language, Alan Esslemont, Director General of TG4, discusses his success with bringing Irish language broadcasting and programmes to national and international audiences, heralding a golden era for the industry
