North West Delegation visit Harvard University

A delegation from the North West City Region recently travelled to Boston, Massachusetts and paid a visit to the historic and world-famous Harvard University.

The group included Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Council officials from Donegal and Derry City & Strabane, Údarás naGaeltachta and Ulster University.

As part of a busy itinerary for the travelling party, who were attending the annual Golden Bridges Conference, the visit to one of the world's most famous academic institutes was facilitated by Donegal native Nuala McGowan. Nuala is Senior Director of Research Finance and Compliance at Harvard University.

Conor grew up in Ireland and is the Paul A. Maeder Professor of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and founder of the Harvard Biodesign Lab.
