Johnny Doherty Festival

John Doherty was a world-renowned traditional musician who was born in and spent much time in Ardara, Co Donegal, and he is the figurehead of our festival.  We present, in concert and informal settings, the best local traditional artists as well as some internationally renowned musicians, singers and dancers.  The weekend includes three main concerts, ceilis, and many trad music and song sessions.  The headliners this year include Irish-American supergroup Cherish The Ladies, Zoe Conway & John McIntyre, and the trio of Bríd Harper, Dermot Byrne & Steve Cooney.
