Donegal Seaweed uses only the highest quality raw materials when formulating their products. The seaweed, ‘Ascophyllum Nodosum’, used is hand-harvested in the clean waters of the Donegal coast by experienced local cutters using a traditional technique. They adhere to a careful rotation and selection policy in harvesting areas thus allowing strict sustainable management of seaweed stocks. Their GARDEN FORCE seaweed extract is especially useful in organic gardening. It contains almost every micro-nutrient in a fully chelated (immediately available) form. The algae are also full of carbohydrates, which plants use as a building block. Numerous beneficial microorganisms also use carbohydrates as a food source.
