An Siopa Gaeilge is committed to providing a first-class service to language learners, teachers, parents and all those interested in Ireland’s language and culture.
Established by Oideas Gael, An Siopa Gaeilge is located in Gleann Cholm Cille, Co. Donegal. An Siopa contains a selection of books, audiovisual materials and learning resources of particular interest to the adult Irish language learner as well as teachers. We also carry a wide selection of materials for children and a variety of traditional music resources.
Our selection of traditional music CDs focus, in particular, on those wonderful Donegal musicians hosted by Cairdeas na bhFidiléirí. An Siopa also carries an unsurpassed range of bilingual greeting cards, along with books on Irish history, culture, archaeology, music and the environment. Note too that An Siopa Gaeilge is able to facilitate those interested in purchasing paintings of the area, knitwear and other local handcrafts.
