Pramerica was founded in Co. Donegal in June 2000 with 8 employees. Over time it has flourish in the tech ecosystem of Donegal and over 1,800 people across 35 nationalities work in various parts of the business.
Initially serving as a business and technology operations subsidiary of US based, Prudential Financial Inc., in 2020, Pramerica was acquired by India’s Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.
Pramerica consists of two diverse business groups. Pramerica Systems provide a complete range of development, quality assurance and systems engineering services to customers in over 30 countries. Pramerica also provides a wide range of Professional Business Solutions to business groups across the U.S. in areas such as technical support, and financial services.

Their ‘one vendor’ approach aims to simplify IT security procedures for businesses. With innovative management reporting tools, ITUS helps to simplify IT security for businesses.

Gartan Technologies is a software development company based in Letterkenny. They specialise in time-management solutions for the Emergency Services sector. Their Rostering, Payroll and Competency Management tools are used by Fire & Rescue Services throughout Ireland, the UK and Australia. They bring over 20 years experience to the sector and offer 'Off-the-Shelf', Bespoke, SaaS and 'On-Premise' solutions. Since March 2020, Gartan Technologies have increased their workforce by 10% (from 21 to 23 staff members).
