Between 5th - 21st March 2021 - Virtual Event
The organising committee of the Cara Bundoran Run has made the decision to run the deferred 2020 event, virtually, between March 5th and March 21st 2021. Having examined many possibilities since last March, rescheduling the (in person) event has not been possible.
They now invite all currently registered competitors to run the five kilometres/ten miles/kilometres at their convenience between the dates outlined above.
All competitors will receive their runner’s pack and medal by post before the start of March and the organisers would encourage you to wear your top when completing the run. Their charity partners from 2020 will also benefit from this year’s virtual event and Cara Bundoran Run are happy to once again have the The Marie Keating Foundation, The Asthma Society of Ireland and Bluestack Special Needs Foundation on board as their beneficiaries.
How does it work?
Sometime between Friday the 5th of March and Friday the 21st of March you run the 5 kilometres/ 10 miles (or 10 kilometres) – whichever you signed up for. The route can be any 5K/ ten mile (or 10k) route that is convenient for you. We would ask you to be mindful of any travel restrictions that may still be in place at this time and adhere to government guidelines at all times.
