#LoveDonegal Day 2022

The hugely popular #LoveDonegal campaign is back on September 8th! Following the success of previous years, this year’s campaign centres on celebrating the art and creativity of Donegal.

#LoveDonegal Day 2022

Now in its third year, #LoveDonegal day is an important event in the calendar for the region as it gives everyone with a connection to Donegal an opportunity to enjoy, celebrate and love Donegal.

Together, we can share what makes Donegal special to us with families and friends in other regions throughout the globe (our diaspora) and promote the county, and its amazing offering, to the widest possible global audience.

COMPETITION TIME! Win B&B for two at the Sand House Hotel

This year's #LoveDonegal theme is Art.

We want the people to showcase their love for Donegal by showcasing the place brand through art. Whether it's a painting, drawing, sculpting or natural art, we want your submissions!

Submit your variation of the Donegal Place brand logo (video above for inspiration) for #LoveDonegal day from Monday 5th to Monday 12th September at 12 PM and don't forget to post on social media!

We will shortlist the best 5 entries and the Sand House will pick the overall winner who will win an overnight stay for two in an ocean view room with a full Irish breakfast!

Don't worry you can still get involved in this year's #LoveDonegal day! Share with us why you #LoveDonegal on the 8th of September via social media. We want to see posts about our diaspora, exploring the county, the people, our geography, businesses and our cherished Gaeltacht and Irish language. We will be giving out spot prizes for the best posts!
