Travelling from Ireland’s most northerly point to its most southerly, our Malin to Mizen Challenge is a tough but rewarding challenge. Immersing yourself in the beauty and splendour of the spectacular route. The cycle can be a healing process for many as we discuss mental health issues in a free and open manner.
By joining this challenge, you will be supporting the work of Cycle Against Suicide. Each and every suicide is devastating and has a profound impact on those left behind. Preventing suicide is possible and we are all key players in its prevention. Raising awareness, reducing stigma and encouraging safe and meaningful conversations around suicide, and by encouraging help seeking behaviour, we can reduce the instances of suicide. Through its programmes in schools, communities and workplaces, Cycle Against Suicide weaves prevention into the very fabric of communities.
For this challenge, the cycle is fully supported for its duration. Minimum speed is 21 kmph and catering for speeds upwards 30 kmph+ Cyclists will be grouped according to their speed and ability.
